The OWSL Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020/21 OWSL Indoor League. Our resolve to make the season happen has been very evident, but the barriers have proven too great to overcome to assure our members of a safe, practical and enjoyable experience. We acknowledge kick-off would be over a month away, but we must make our decision based on the circumstances of today and provide our members with early certainty.
With every obstacle there is a workaround that may or may not be optimal. But we have looked at member health and safety along with the value proposition to our members, and very regretfully have drawn the conclusion we should not be running a league this season. With optimism, perhaps we can enjoy an unconstrained OWSL Outdoor 2021 season. We will of course begin planning for OWSL Indoor 2021/22 and hope to enjoy your participation then.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we came to this decision.
Thank you for a great indoor season, we hope you see you next year!

We thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate this unprecedented situation.
Our Spring Coaches Meeting originally scheduled for April 26th has been tentatively rescheduled for May 16th. We will advise our membership as soon as possible if it needs to be moved again.
The divisions have been approved by Ontario Soccer and are now posted on our site. We remain hopeful that the 2020 outdoor season can be completed, and we are assessing multiple options to bring our membership as much soccer as possible this summer. We continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation in conjunction with Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer and will provide you with updates as they become available.
Following discussions with the national governing body, input from relevant government agencies and medical experts, Ontario Soccer has made the difficult decision to immediately suspend all sanctioned soccer activities in the province until further notice.
Ontario Soccer sanctioned activities include, but not limited to, all competitions, training, coach and match official education and team building activities.
To ensure the health and safety of our players, coaches, match officials and administrators, Ontario Soccer recommends that all Districts, Clubs and Academies communicate to their members that they will cease operations indefinitely.
